| Anyone have a clue what we are supposed to bring with us the first day of MCP? I don't recall it being discussed in A+. I would hate to carry a bunch of extra stuff that I don't need or end up missing something I should have grabbed on my way out the door. I am sorta assuming the same basic things that we needed in A+. | |

| im holding off until we get our movie checks. Im still undecided with what im doing. Im not entirely sure if I want to dig into an i7 or just go with another quad. Im also undecided on the case, after lugging my Navigtator around, im not too sure I want to haul the El Diablo Advanced around. I might throw some server wheels on it so I can roll it, but like I said. Im not sure. And J, I know, I know, What would I do with all of that power? I have no idea as of yet, eventually something will use it. Im also just looking at the Asus Striker II extreme. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131274 It supports DDR3 2000 Which is actually what im looking for, but id be missing the Triple Channel and 12 Gb. | |

| Im actually DOWNclocking my rig to 3ghz for daily use and setting my ddr2 1066 at 1000, while also keeping my hd4830 at stock(which is hard to do, there is so much leftover room). I will probably buy a strap for it so its not such a chore to lug around(although I have half the case that K has).
General reminder for all that read this though. Bring EVERYTHING that you brought to the last class minus the books. From what I hear, he will send you home if you dont have what you need for the night. | |

| So far I can tell you that you can upgrade, but you should have your original eqip with you. You will need your screwdriver, a floppy or two, as well as a couple CDs. You will get an oversized binder, a workbook and a textbook, both of which together aren't as big as the A+ textbook. Hope this helps a bit....Best of luck to you all.. | |
