| I'm considering putting together a mini-itx system for fun and would like some ideas for something that we could turn into a case. Heres the parts that I have so far... PSURam This could change depending on room in whatever we decide to make the case... MoboLow profile heatsinkThis could also change depending on the room in the case we make. Some ideas that ive heard; Gulick wants to put a pc in a carrying case. I thought about doing some sort of Shredder Pc. The part where you would normally put in the paper would be a slot loading dvd drive. Anyway, thats a stupid one i know, so let me know your ideas! | |

| Okay, so i've actually decided to go a bit cheaper. PSU - A spare psu should do us fine, from on old dell or similar oem is prefered. Deciding on a cheaper mobo/cpu/heatsink combo(atom)Same ram I bought a cheap dvd-rw off of ebay So far the only case idea I have, is to use a case from a 360 that has been gutted which would be awesome but has been done before. | |

| Im thinking under $200 for everything but the case. Im not far off from that with the atom, 2gb ram, used psu, and a slim dvdrw. Just need to find a cheap 2.5" hdd and something to turn into a case | |

| What do you have left? Id like to see a PC shoved into one of those old boom boxes. You remember : It would not only have the functionality of the speakers, but a very discrete and semi-easy to carry case. | |
